CECAM-IT-SIMUL
CECAM-IT-SIMUL is one of the Italian Nodes of CECAM - Centre Européen de Calcul Atomique et Moléculaire.
On January 1, 2017, the CECAM-IT-SIMUL node was established through an agreement among a consortium of Italian institutions.
The consortium has grown over time and, following the signing of a new agreement in 2025, now comprises thirteen members:
i) Polytechnic University of Milan, ii) Polytechnic University of Turin, iii) University of Rome Tor Vergata, iv) University of L’Aquila,
v) Sapienza University of Rome, vi) Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), vii) University of Calabria, viii) University of Pavia,
ix) University of Bologna and CINECA, x) University of Naples Federico II, xi) University of Cagliari, xii) University of Trento,
and xiii) University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
CECAM-IT-SIMUL strives to strengthen and extend its network across Italy, with the mission of promoting fundamental research on advanced computational methods and their application to key problems in frontier areas of science and technology.
